Vintage Wedding Planning
Are you getting married? First of all, let me offer you a congratulations! Now, let me offer you your condolences- here’s why…
Planning your wedding is hard work! But don’t let this discourage you. You can plan your perferct Vintage wedding (with matching vintage wedding rings, vintage wedding gowns, vintage wedding veils, and vintage cake toppers) and the end result will be the perfect, I promise. If something doesn’t work the way you imagined it would, that’s okay! Not every woman’s wedding is perfect (in fact, I don’t think there is such a thing as the perfect wedding) but your day will be perfect in it’s imperfectness. Don’t let one foiled thing spoil the entire day for you.
This blog will outline the things you need to take care of when planning vinatage weddings. You will be able to find information on vintage wedding bands, vintage style wedding dresses (including vintage wedding dress patterns and vintage gowns). The goal of this blog is to be your "resource for all weddings aiming for that vintage theme".
Make sure you bookmark this site and check back often, because I will be adding more content frequently to make this a complete guide to planning your wedding. Of course in the beginning, the content will be limited. Give me time, I will make sure all the information you need for your wedding is added. If you need something particular, or have a question, please leave a comment. I will be sure to add content based on users questions.
What makes me an expert on this topic? I planned my vintage style wedding in just 3 months. I must tell you, the outcome was spectacular, and I didn’t spend a fortune doing it. If I can do it, you can do it. I will be sure to give you tips and ideas in this blog so your day can be just as spectacular.
Here’s something to get you started:
How fabulous is that little veil by Thelma Designs? I haven’t seen anything quite like it, and I couldn’t resist creating an inspiration board with it. For some reason it struck me as a vintage piece.
Wedding guest books are used to keep track of guests who were able to attend your wedding reception; sometimes they also serve as a record of messages.
Roll out an old-fashioned, sweet, three-tiered buttercream wedding cake crowned with a vintage topper. Looking for a wedding cake topper on a dime? Borrow your grandparents’ to make it extra memorable.
1950’s Vintage Wedding Dresses
I don’t really care if vintage wedding dresses are trendy this season; I’ve always loved how they look, and I definitely want to get married in a vintage.
